Crochet, Knitting and the like

While I dabble in the occasional crochet project, I just have no patience to learn how to knit. However that's not to say I have no appreciation for it. The image below was what I received from a friend as payment for a project that I did for her. Her mother who had been knitting for over thirty years now, knitted this from a vogue pattern. I absolutely love it!

 

Jewelery

I first began making jewelery when I was ten. My main bead of choice were seed beads which of course required alot of patience that my twelve year old self just didn't have. Needless to say not much of my pieces back then were a success and so the hobby was laid to rest for a bit till it was revived recently. Most of the jewelery you see here, will be on sale at some point, probably when I have more pieces made, so stay tuned!

Decoupage

The art of decorating objects with decorative paper or recycled magazines and glue. My interest becoming more green spurred this hobby on. I was in need of storage boxes but rather than wasting money and adding what might be more garbage in the household I decided to decorate an old gift box with pictures from a King Kong magazine. Now I have a wicked King Kong theme box!
